The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty had it’s 25th anniversary this week, leading us to ask, what exactly is being done by our world leaders to end poverty? We know there are common sense policies. The European Financial Transaction Tax is in place, ready to go and could raise billions! To the over 800 million people living in extreme poverty today, this money could make a real difference. It’s high time the negotiators stopped playing politics with people’s lives. No more delays!
